A Thousand Words Festival 2009 will be held on Saturday November 21st from 9.30am to 5.30pm at the Abbotsford Convent.

 

The Abbotsford Convent is located at 1 St Heliers St, Abbotsford

 

 

We encourage you to catch public transport as there is limited parking available. Please check Metlink Melbourne for bus timetables to the corner of Johnson St and Hoddle St, or catch the train to Victoria Park station.

Throughout the day there will be Storytime sessions and book signings by various authors, as well as food and gift stalls and a free Go-Go class!.

Entry fees for author run sessions are:

$10 Adult Full Day
$5 Child Full Day
Any Single Session : $5 adult/child
Children under 2 years are free!

The day will close with a panel discussion on Young Adult Fantasy Fiction during which we will announce the winner of the Short Story Competition.
